This could be Porsche's most desirable model yet.
Alongside the Cayman GT4, Porsche unveiled the stunning 718 Spyder two years ago. Besides its glorious 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six engine, it's probably the prettiest member of the 718 family with its rear streamliners and lightweight roof. But even a near-perfect sports car like the 718 Spyder can be made even better. That's where the 718 Spyder 000 Package comes in. Developed by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur - the division dedicated to creating personalized Porsche models - and 000 Magazine, the package is said to be inspired by the Carrera GT supercar. Unique colors and superior materials were incorporated to lift it above the regular 718 Spyder.
The high-quality Ascot Brown leather - which was fitted to the Carrera GT - paired with Pebble Grey stitching - is complemented by a choice of four exterior hues. These are Brewster Green, Albert Blue, three Paint to Sample colors of Slate Grey, and GT Silver Metallic. The latter color is the same as the launch color of the Carrera GT while the green and blue hark back to the 1960s and 1970s respectively. While each car looks fantastic, we think that the Brewster Green is the nicest pairing with the Ascot Brown leather interior. This leather gives the cabin a markedly different ambiance to the standard car's black Race-Tex cabin.
Other neat touches for the 718 Spyder 000 Package include sport seats that are either adaptive, heated items, or carbon-bucket designs. Both Bose and Burmester sound systems can be specified and ceramic-composite brakes are optionally available. The posh leather extends to the lower door panels, door panels, the lower portion of the dashboard, and the rear center console lid. Illuminated door sills with the 000 logo and black brushed aluminum trim can also be specified. With the 718 Spyder 000 Package, an already special roadster becomes even harder to resist.
