Cadillac promises more “next-generation V-series models” next year.
Cadillac has just announced that it will release a limited edition CTS-V Coupe, due to hit the market later in 2014 with just 500 units. This editionwill maintain the 2014’s 556 horsepower supercharged V8, and will also befitted with Magnetic Ride Control and Brembo brakes. It will gain a bespokeEbony interior with red stitching, Recaro sport seats, Midnight Sapele woodtrim, a suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, special grille, wheel andbrake calipers and metal pedals.
In addition, the company promised to carry over the V-Seriesinto the next generation, “which will move to the next level with more dynamicdesign and technical sophistication.” This could relate to a number offuture CTS-V models – such as a sedan and a coupe – or to the addition of anATS-V sedan or coupe model (or both). The company promised that "thenext-generation V-Series models arein development and will premiere next year."
