Cadillac promises more “next-generation V-series models” next year.
Cadillac has just announced that it will release a limited edition CTS-V Coupe, due to hit the market later in 2014 with just 500 units. This edition will maintain the 2014’s 556 horsepower supercharged V8, and will also be fitted with Magnetic Ride Control and Brembo brakes. It will gain a bespoke Ebony interior with red stitching, Recaro sport seats, Midnight Sapele wood trim, a suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, special grille, wheel and brake calipers and metal pedals.
In addition, the company promised to carry over the V-Series into the next generation, “which will move to the next level with more dynamic design and technical sophistication.” This could relate to a number of future CTS-V models – such as a sedan and a coupe – or to the addition of an ATS-V sedan or coupe model (or both). The company promised that "the next-generation V-Series models are in development and will premiere next year."
