There aren't many aspects of our lives that have been left unaffected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Over the last 18 months, various automakers have done their part to assist healthcare workers in managing the crisis. Toyota joined forces with the Los Angeles Fire Department to assist in the transportation of vaccines, while Kia was one of several automakers to produce protective face shields. Stellantis has now announced that its Jeep, Fiat, and Ram brands would be partnering with (RED), an organization created to raise funds that can assist with fighting global health emergencies.

(RED) was founded in 2006 with the original mission to combine the resources of some of the world's largest companies to fight the AIDS pandemic, and the attention has now turned to Covid-19. With Jeep, Fiat, and Ram being (RED)'s first multi-brand automotive partners, the multi-year partnership will deliver at least $4 million to fight global health emergencies between 2021 and 2023. The partnership includes the release of several (RED)-branded vehicles including (RED) editions of the Jeep Compass, Jeep Renegade, Ram 1500 Limited, and Fiat New 500. The Ram 1500 will launch late in 2021, the Compass will follow in the first quarter of 2022, and the Renegade will follow that. The tiny Fiat isn't sold in the US.

These (RED)-branded Stellantis models will come with specific design cues and (RED) badging both inside and out.

"This partnership with Fiat, Jeep, and Ram is a powerful shot in the arm for (RED)'s fight against pandemics and the complacency that fuels them," said Bono, co-founder of (RED). "We have to do more and fast to support the hundreds of millions of people who don't yet have access to the vaccines, therapeutics, or sufficient PPE."

Fiat, Jeep, and Ram are now the first automotive brands to join forces with (RED). The (RED) Mission by Jeep and Born To Save by Ram are complementary brand-specific campaigns that will support the greater goal of fighting the pandemic. Pricing of the (RED)-branded Jeep and Ram models will be revealed soon.
