Not somewhere that immediately comes to mind when thinking of a country that produces exotic supercars, but with the Zenvo ST1 Denmark is certainly making a name for itself. Courtesy of Red Sea Distribution, the Danish sports car is coming to America in the form of a special edition exclusive to the North American market. Fittingly, a red, white, and blue ST1 50S will be produced along with a $1.8 million price tag and a special Swiss watch by Aspen worth $49,000.

The additional $575,000 (or $526k if you subtract the watch) gets you a rear-wheel drive twin-charged in-house 7.0-liter V8 tuned to produce a mind-boggling 1250hp and 1106lb-ft of torque and coupled to a 7-speed paddle-shifter, normally an optional extra on the standard car of which only 15 units are to be made. Due to tire liability issues there's an electronically-limited top speed of 233mph on the standard ST1, which is likely to remain on the ST1 50S, but the 0-62mph acceleration time of 3.0 seconds will doubtless be improved upon given the additional 146 horses and 44lb-ft of torque. Perhaps when it debuts on the 16 November we'll find out for sure.

Individual monogrammed seats and a dedication plaque signed by the engineers and owners form part of the package, as does on-site warranty and service work which will be carried out by Zenvo's concierge service anywhere in the world.
