The 2012 Bentley GTC was recently caught zooming around the Nurburgring for some performance testing.
A few weeks ago we brought you photos of the 2012 Bentley GTC Speed running through the European Alps while performing some brake testing. Well, the GTC Speed was recently spotting racing around the Nurburgring in Germany testing its high speed capabilities. The GTC Speed packs something special under its hood, though no one can confirm quite yet what it is. The word is that it probably features a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 with an impressive 600-plus hp.
The all-wheel-drive GTC Speed will run a 4.5 second 0-60mph time and be a bit lighter than the current model. Insides aside, it isn't too shabby to look at either. It features a vented hood, new headlights and tighter taillights, aggressive front fascia, revised exhaust system and a trunk-mounted spoiler. If you combine that with the new, slightly larger wheels and new seats, the GTC Speed is a thing of power and beauty. The Bentley GTC Speed is expected to be unveiled in December and sales should begin in early 2012. No word on pricing has been revealed yet. Photos courtesy of Teamspeed.
