Spied: 2012 Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster at the Nurburgring

Spy Shots / Comments

Some new spy photos have appeared showing what appears to be a near production prototype of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster undergoing testing at the Nurburgring. Unlike in some previous spy shots, we're now able to catch a glimpse of the rear spoiler in action during high speed testing. The SLS AMG Roadster will be powered by the same 6.2-liter V8 as the Gullwing, with 563 hp and a 0 to 60 mph of about 4.0 seconds.

Top speed will be around 192 mph. No official pricing has been announced and will likely debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Photos courtesy of gmotors.co.uk.
