The BMW M3 Sedan is busy testing while all the other cars are hanging out in Geneva.
The next-generation BMW M3 has been spotted testing in the cold north of Sweden. The sedan is playing in the snow while all the other big name models are chilling on display in Switzerland at the Geneva Motor Show. The 2013 BMW M3 is rumored to run on either the currently-in-development 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine or a possible 450hp 3.3-liter tri-turbo straight six engine. What is intriguing about the tri-turbocharged setup is that it will increase efficiency, run with smoother acceleration and virtually eliminate turbo lag.
As it has been designed to be more aggressive than its 3-Series standard, more power is just more fitting for the feisty German sedan. The next-gen BMW M3 will arrive next year in sedan form while coupe and convertible variants will arrive in a 4-Series guise.
