BMW's answer to the Mercedes CLS AMG and Audi S7, the new M6 Gran Coupe was spotted during cold weather testing in Scandinavia. With a deep front spoiler, wide fenders, and set of quad exhaust pipes, the M6 is really looking the part of a not-to-be-messed with sedan. Powered by the same high-revving twin-turbocharged V8 engine as the M5 and the recently revealed M6 Coupe and Convertible, the M6 Gran Coupe has at least 552hp (and 501lb-ft of torque) and is rumored to have as much as an additional 20hp to play with.
Power will be transferred to the back wheels via BMW M's latest seven-speed Double Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic. The muscular M6 GranCoupe can run from rest to 62mph in just under 4.5 seconds and reach a limited top speed of 155mph. The new BMW M6 GranCoupe should debut later this year and will be launched in 2013.
