Spied: 2013 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Testing

The new Mercedes S-Class has been spotted testing at the Nurburgring.

Mercedes-Benz has been vigorously testing their 2013 S-Class sedan for the last few months ahead of its mid-2012 launch. The new S-Class is expected to come loaded with plenty of high-tech gadgetry and equipment. The S-Class will feature the German's new 6D-Vision technology to recognize pedestrians and cyclists to prevent collisions, Magic Body Control scanner for automatic adjustment of the suspension for bumpy roads and a healthy combination of sensors and road scanners to further increase safety.

Prospective owners of the S-Class sedan will have their choice between highly efficient V6, V8 or V12 engines. Power output of the new motors should range from the stock's 300hp to an AMG engine of over 650hp. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will arrive in summer 2012 and will be followed by convertible and coupe variants later on down the road. Photos: CarPix.
