Porsche is slowly rolling out their new 991-Series 911s and the latest variant captured by our spy photographers is the 911 Turbo Convertible. Last month we saw the 911 Turbo Coupe undergoing testing and this marks the first occasion we have seen the open-top version. The 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible features motivation in the form of a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine. Good for 530-plus horsepower, the powerplant will propel the 911 Turbo into 'Godzilla' territory.

A rumored tri-turbo configuration has not been confirmed, though one can only imagine the performance possibilities that could bring. Spotted testing in the Arctic Circle (a strange place to find a performance-minded convertible), the 911 Turbo Cabrio boasts additional cooling vents, bigger rear-wheel arches and a new active rear spoiler. The 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe could be making its debut as early as next month's Geneva Motor Show, with the Cabrio version sure to roll out soon after.
