Opel is currently at working developing their upcoming small car that will likely take on the Fiat 500.
As we've known for some time, Opel has been busy working on a new small car that will slot in the lineup below the Corsa. This baby Opel, that's internally being called "Junior" for now, will probably get the name Allegra when it officially debuts. And now our spy photographers have spotted another prototype taking part in some cold weather winter testing. The Junior/Allegra is expected to be around 3.7 meters long and will be sold as a three-door hatch only.
The question, however, is whether it will compete against the all-new Volkswagen Up!, or if it will go more upmarket and fight against the Mini Cooper and Fiat 500 when it's expected to arrive sometime in 2013. Opel is also developing a new engine family for the car which we'll probably also see in the next-generation Corsa.
