The last time our spy photographers caught Volkswagen testing their 7th generation Golf was in November where the grass was still green and the sun was still shining. The latest batch of photos show the 2013 3-door Golf in completely opposite surroundings, with the sun hidden and the ground completely covered in snow. As previously reported by CarBuzz, the 3-door Golf will be cleaner and more efficient than previous versions.

The changes were made in order to keep up with the changing legislation demanding more eco-friendly automobiles. The 7th generation Volkswagen Golf is expected to debut later this year as a 2013 model.
