Spied: Audi Q3 S Crossover

Testing

The 300hp Audi Q3 crossover will pack a punch when it launches in the next year or so.

The Audi Q3 crossover is coming shortly and judging by these spy shots, it's in the final stages of testing. Audi recently held a press event in Switzerland where they showed-off their prototype of a 300hp 2.5-liter 5-cylinder TFSI engine slated for the new version of their Q3. The hot-rod crossover was tested last week at the Nurburgring in Germany, meaning Audi really wants to release a power-packed Q3. Seen here in the photos, the car is fitted with Audi's S-Line package and is running on the juiced motor.

We also noticed the more powerful brakes, further intimidating the use of the new engine. The only thing we don't know about the new Q3 will be its named. It could be badged S, RS or simply be known as the Q3 2.5 TFSI.
