Spied: BMW M3 GTS Sedan

Nurburgring

After launching the stripped-out, bright orange M3 GTS coupe, BMW has now moved on to do a similar thing to the sedan version. These spy photos show the upcoming GTS sedan undergoing testing at the Nurburgring. However, BMW is saying the sedan will not be an exact duplicate of the coupe. Rather, it will be placed in between the GTS coupe and the standard stock M3 sedan.

More than likely, it won't be quite as powerful as the 444hp GTS coupe, but the 4.0-liter S65 V8 will be tuned to produce more than the standard 414hp. Styling wise, it won't receive the coupe's huge rear wing and should closely resemble the Lightweight M3 Sedan Concept that was revealed last April. Full details of the car will be revealed at an M division party at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring this June. However, like the GTS, the sedan will likely remain a limited-production European trim only.
