New spy shots have just come in showing the upcoming Ford B-Max undergoing testing in Germany. Set to compete against the Opel Meriva in Europe, the B-Max is the baby brother of the C-Max. And as we can see it looks very close to the concept that Ford showed us at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. It has also kept the rear sliding doors that make it really practical in narrow parking places. The B-Max is based on the Ford Fiesta platform but will be just a little over four inches longer.

Ford has said that one of the engine options will be a 1.0-liter three cylinder EcoBoost engine with both direct injection and turbo. We don't know exactly when Ford plans on launching the new B-Max, but we highly doubt that it'll make its way to the U.S.
