Spied: Ford Fiesta ST Testing At The Nurburgring

Spy Shots

The Ford Fiesta ST is getting closer to its official introduction as spy photographers caught up with the car testing on Germany's famed Nurburgring. We're guessing it will launch at the 2012 North American Auto Show in Detroit. From what we can see from these photos, the Fiesta ST will feature a revised grille that's significantly larger than the standard model's. An intercooler, larger wheels, and a revised rear exhaust are also noticeable.

Power will come from Ford's 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline-four that will produce somewhere in the neighborhood of 180hp. No official launch date has been set, but this hot hatch is something that will be well worth the wait. Photos courtesy of MotorTrend.
