Our spy photographers are bracing the freezing cold of the European Alps to bring you some photos of the Ford Mondeo aka Fusion wagon test mule. Known as the Fusion in the States and the Mondeo in markets around the world, the new wagon variant joins the previously seen sedan shape going through the testing phase. The design cues Ford took on their Mondeo/Fusion is said to be gleaned from the Evos concept that was recently revealed last month at Frankfurt.

What isn't clear about the wagon variant of Ford's latest model is whether or not the American automaker will release it in the U.S. market. It will definitely be sold in Europe, as it is their most sold version of the Fusion. We do know, however, is that Ford plans on building a hybrid version of the Mondeo/Fusion, which should be released sometime after the car begins sales. Photos: CarPix
