Lexus has officially announced that they'll be displaying what's basically the next generation GS sedan in concept form at the New York Auto Show this April. More specifically, it will be the LF-Gh hybrid concept. And by judging these latest spy shots of the production car, we're able to get a good preview of Lexus's future design direction. No other information has been officially announced, although it's expected for the 2012 GS to be slightly bigger than the current model.

Its main competition will continue to be the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series, and the Infiniti M. The concept will most likely also feature the typical large wheels and insanely designed interior, both of which will not make it to production. We'll have to wait until April 19th when Lexus officially pulls the sheet off the concept to glimpse the future of Lexus styling. Photos courtesy of SB-Medien.
