Apparently the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series will be making a few rounds at the Nurburgring during the German Grand Prix later this month. Given an early glimpse of the new car, it looks great. Nurburgring has recently hosted several highly anticipated auto debuts, this is no different.
The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series will be making a few rounds at the Nurburgring during the German Grand Prix later this month. It's early debut gave us a chance to take a look at this beast of the street. Though the C63 AMG BS isn't supposed to be unveiled for quite some time, but Canadian website Beyond has learned that Canadian Mercedes-Benz dealers have been contacting those on their waiting lists about a contest run at the Nurburgring.
Well, the waiting lists are already full in Canada and they expect the car to arrive north of the border in 2012 as a 2013 model. The car will feature a 6.3-liter V8 with SLS internals that will produce 517hp and 472 lb-ft of torque and give the Black Series C63 a top speed of 186mph. A brand new AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed transmission, adjustable coilover suspension and rear locking differential are just some of the accoutrements the car will contain. From Beyond, AMG will be holding a random draw for one lucky C63 AMG Coupe Black Series customer.
These new spy photos are of the new car undergoing what looks like some final engineering adjustments. The winner and their guest will attend the F1 Grand Prix in Germany to preview the car. The winner will be chosen in early July. MSRP for the car is expected to top $100,000.
