The Megane family from Renault is up for a refresh in the very near future and our spy photographers have just spotted the five- door hatch and the Gran Tour (wagon version) undergoing some hot weather testing in Southern Europe. From what we can tell through the camouflage, the front will receive the most dramatic change that will incorporate the new Renault family look, while the rear lights will get new graphics. Both front and rear bumpers will also change slightly.

For those who don't know, the Megan family consists of a five-door hatch, a coupe, convertible, and a wagon. Launched back in 2008, the Megan family offers a variety of gasoline and diesel engines. The 2.0 Turbo RS coupe in particular is widely known in Europe due to its 250hp I4 engine that's mated to a six-speed manual. It competes directly with the VW Golf GTI and Ford Focus ST. We don't when exactly the refreshed Megane will debut, but our best guess will be the Geneva Motor Show next March. Photos: CarPix
