Spied: Saab 9-3 Convertible Mule Testing

Spy Shots

Saab's newest product has been caught out on some winter test runs. We are talking about the next generation of the brand's highest volume model, the 9-3. Although it was refreshed for 2011, Saab's entry-level sedan is slated to receive some changes for the 2012 model year, including a completely redone chassis which is evident from the spy shots.

These photos clearly show a 9-3 in the drop-top variation, even though in the past the 9-3 has been available as a wagon, sedan and convertible. In the pictures we can see some front fender cladding and wider exhaust outlets, all of which proves that the new 9-3 will be wider than the current model. Enjoy the photos.
