Spied: Vauxhall/Opel Small SUV

Spy Shots

Although the pictures show a heavily disguised vehicle, this small SUV will most likely be a new Vauxhall/Opel. Judging from what we can make out from the heavily-clad SUV, the headlights and day-time driving light have the typical Vauxhall design. This is not to mention that under the camouflage in front there appears to be what looks like an Opel sign. Confirming that this is destined to be an Opel are the Opel signed hub caps.

The new compact SUV is designed and engineered by GM's South Korean research and development center. This is the same R&D center that is responsible for the Cruze and Beat. Word is that there will be a Chevy badged version of this new SUV, as well as an Opel/Vauxhall badged version in both front- and four-wheel drive versions powered by a set of diesel and gasoline engines.
