It's been over a year since the new SRT Viper debuted, but right from the start there was no doubt it would be wicked fast. SRT apparently wants to remind everyone just how fast its supercar is, so it sent an example over to the guys at Drag Times to test at the Palm Beach International Raceway by running the quarter mile. Drag Times claims its tester came with just 2,500 miles on the clock along with a set of Mickey Thompson drag radial tires that are taller than the stock offerings, giving the car better traction.

The best run of the day was done with the launch control system left on, coming in at 11.1 at 127.4 mph. It also had a 0-60 mph time of 3.1 seconds, 0-100 in 7.1 seconds and a 60-130 time of 8.08 seconds. (Thanks "fikse" for the tip!)
