Only 650 examples of the limited-edition sports coupe will be built.
The Geneva Motor Show has a few days left to run for the general public, yet we are already focused on the next automobile extravaganza. At the end of this month, the New York Auto Show will be opening its doors to the media, and automakers are already teasing some of the cars we can expect to debut at the event. Ahead of the show, Lexus has revealed new limited-edition variants of its RC coupe. Dubbed the Black Line Special Edition, the appearance package is available for all RC 300 and RC 350 F Sport models.
The special edition sports coupe will be available with a choice of two colors: Caviar and Atomic Silver. Contrasting the gloss exterior paint are matte black wheels that come as standard for the special edition, along with orange or black brake calipers. Instead of the standard chrome trim, the Black Line editions feature black chrome accents around the grille and windows. The subtle styling refinements continue inside with orange stitching throughout the interior coating everything from the seats to the dashboard and door panels. There's also a model-exclusive wood-trimmed steering wheel featuring unique shades of black that were created by a Japanese calligraphy shop.
All RC F Sport Black Line coupes will be equipped with the Navigation + Mark Levinson Audio Package, Intuitive Parking Assist, Moonroof and Triple Beam LED headlamps. All four versions of the RC coupe will be getting the special edition treatment including the base RC 300, RC 300 AWD, RC 350 and RC 350 AWD. Prices for the Black Line editions range from $51,730 for the RC 300 version and up to $56,120 for the RC350 AWD. Lexus will only be building 650 examples of the RC Coupe Black Line Edition when it arrives in US dealers this spring. The special edition coupe will be debuting at the New York Auto Show alongside the 2019 Lexus UX compact crossover, which will be making its North American debut.
