BMW has just released the first rendering of their 5-Series Special Edition for Japan. The German automaker is commemorating 30 years in the Japanese market with a limited run 528i model available only in the Japanese market. The Special Edition model has some stunning good looks, as it features the Japan M Sport package. Fitted to the 528i, the package includes bespoke front and rear bumpers and side skirts and sits on a set of slightly larger wheels.

It will run on the 5-Series naturally-aspirated 3.0-liter straight six engine and not on the brand-new 2.0-liter turbocharged motor. The BMW 528i 30th Anniversary Special Edition model will be produced in a run of only 200 units and it is available for purchase now. Pricing is set at JPY 7,890,000 which translates to a little over $100K.
