Strasse Wheels, purveyors of some of the world's finest aftermarket wheels, has previewed a new design on the latest BMW 7 Series.

The SV20M-RS Deep Concave FS works well with the luxury sedan's controversial design and is seen here with Gloss Brushed Cleared centers, and a High Polished and Cleared lip. The silver finish pairs nicely with the vehicle's Mineral White paintwork and M Sport exterior, and provides a sporty yet tasteful look.

You may not appreciate the Bimmer's extroverted front fascia, but there's no denying it looks rather good when paired with these items. Strasse Wheels says this particular design is available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 18 to 24 inches. The BMW pictured here wears 22x9s at the front and 22x11s at the rear.

To ensure you get the desired outcome you want, Strasse Wheels offers the new wheel in five- and six-lug designs, as well as a decidedly sporty center lock style. What's more, there's a near-endless scope for personalization as buyers can choose from an array of options and finishes.

If you're wondering, FS stands for "Floating Spoke," which describes the unique configuration. The three-piece forged design also boasts a deeper and straighter concave depth profile. Strasse Wheels makes no mention of mass, but notes the SV10M RS has been "weight-optimized."

We're guessing the aftermarket wheel is lighter than the stock BMW wheels, which should give the 7 Series a slightly lighter and more athletic feel. Whether you notice that difference at low speeds is a different story, though.

As you can imagine, it's a rather pricey upgrade. Strasse Wheels says this design starts from $2,500 each, meaning that you're looking at spending at least $10,000 for a set. Then again, that's pocket change for the individual that can afford to splurge on a new 7 Series; a bare-bones 740i commands $93,300.

For a truly attention-grabbing look, perhaps 7 Series owners should pair these exquisite wheels with the optional $12,000 two-tone paint job BMW offers for its range-topping sedan.

The 7er has caused a stir in the automotive world ever since it was revealed in April this year. Naysayers publicly derided the styling, but the controversial look wasn't a mistake. Company CEO Oliver Zipse stated that the polarizing exterior creates a buzz and, in the end, detractors end up appreciating the styling.

While we're not there yet, we have to admit it does look rather excellent on Strasse Wheels' new design.
