Still looking wild after all these years.
One of only 25 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK GTRs made for the FIA GT1 class participation in 1998 and 1999, this 2000 Benz is number 17 to roll off the line. Modified for road-use with a 6.9-liter V12 engine from AMG, the car is now up for sale at Globalautosports, a Ferrari and Maserati dealer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with an asking price of $1.49 million. For the money, you’ll get a 604 horsepower racer making 572 lb-ft of torque.
Did we mention it’s street-legal? According to the car’s original spec, 0-62 mph takes just 3.8 seconds, and the AMG CLK maxes out at 199 mph. The interior may look somewhat outdated in relation to current-day supercars, but that should be forgotten as soon as you hit the throttle.
