The January 2020 auction will feature over ten jaw-dropping classics.

Ford and Shelby enthusiasts rejoice. As the new Hollywood drama/sport film Ford v Ferrari continues to excite motoring fans everywhere, Barrett-Jackson's latest classics to be put up for auction are sure to cause a stir.

President of Barrett-Jackson, Steve Davis, is looking forward to featuring these illustrious brands. "This is an incredible time to be a Ford and Shelby enthusiast," he said. "These two iconic brands have forever impacted the world of performance driving. Their racing DNA runs through every vehicle Ford Performance and Shelby American builds today."

The list of models on the block at the 49th Annual Scottsdale Auction is impressive. There's a 2008 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Convertible, the only convertible of its generation and with a mere 5,400 miles on the clock. It's not the only drop-top hero that will make an appearance, however, with a 1968 Shelby GT500 Convertible also up for grabs - it is one of just 1,423 GT500s produced that year.

The oldest car is a '67 Shelby GT500 in Candy Apple Red which had a thorough restoration in 2008. Other '60s gems include a '68 Shelby GT500KR Convertible and a '66 GT350 with under 100 miles since its own restoration. Of the more modern cars on the block, a 2017 Ford GT is the newest. It's finished in Liquid Red paint, has just 141 miles, and is straight from the personal collection of one of the retired VPs of the Ford Motor Company.
