At long last, the Toyota Supra has a manual transmission. We've been waiting for it for years, and getting a manual Supra in 2022 certainly feels special. We can't wait to drive it, and to later complain about the impending horrendous markups that are coming. For now, buyers will have to settle for this super limited edition time that'll get marked up to flipped for profit.

Toyota calls it the Toyota Supra Matte White Edition. It has all the ingredients to make a special edition, too. It's limited to only 50 units, you've got to be incredibly lucky to get one, and each comes with a special plaque. Oh, and it'll be super collectible for only one country.

The limited trim gets, of course, Matte Avalanche White Metallic paint. Inside, you're limited to the tan leather we saw when the Supra stick launched a while back. That special edition badging is located on the passenger side of the dash, where you'll also find a cool picture of a Supra laid over the matte carbon fiber. It'd be cheap enough for us to try and get one, supposing you could actually get one here in America.

This is yet more forbidden Supra fruit, with pricing starting at $52,891 USD. You'll need to place your order (supposing you live in Japan) by August 21 to get in line for a lottery. Buyers will be chosen at random and "invited" to purchase the car. It all sounds very Ferrari-ish if you ask us.

Here in America, we do get our own special edition manual Supra, so we can't rightfully complain too much. That gets the same leather we see here, which Toyota calls Cognac, adds an Alcantara shifter, and ups the production to 500 units.

Now, you'll have to forgive us, as our Japanese is a bit rusty. We can't quite tell if Toyota will offer these 50 cars in only white, or if the grey and blue cars included in the press materials will be options as well. For now, we've reached out to our Toyota America friends to confirm. Toyota Japan has confirmed that deliveries will begin in October, after the drawing for the lottery has been completed.
