Subaru BRZ STI Concept to Premiere at LA Auto Show

Subaru’s hotly-anticipated concept will be taking a bow in Los Angeles later this month.

It was today announced that the Subaru BRZ Concept - STI will make its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which will run from November 18th to 27th. A concept based on the Subaru BRZ, an all-new rwd compact sports car developed between Subaru and Toyota, it has Subaru's core technology in the form of the Horizontally-Opposed Boxer engine and motifs of the iconic STI performance brand. No other details were made available.

From the preview image alone however we can see that what is essentially the more powerful twin of the Toyota FT-86/Scion FR-S has a unique tail-lamp design and revised diffuser, and also features fender vents and more deeply sculpted doors. Enjoy the picture for now and hold tight for previews in the buildup to the LA Auto Show in a fortnight's time.
