Subaru Impreza Fights Its Way Through The Mud

And it proves it can hang with the best of them.

When it comes to vehicles used for mudding (or muddin’, as it’s more commonly referred to), the vehicles of choice tend to be lifted pickups, and they also tend to be from American manufacturers. So a Subaru WRX probably isn’t the sort of thing you’d expect to see buried up to its axles in the mud. Because, rally car or not, the car just doesn’t have the ground clearance, the torque or the big studded tires of those big purpose-built mudding trucks.

But the WRX in the following video shows that rally heritage isn’t just a bunch of talk from Subaru’s marketing department, and the little car can still fight its way through the dirt.
