A year after its first presentation, looks almost fully-baked.
Now with four doors - of sorts - the Subaru Viziv 2 Crossover Concept, which was originally displayed in Geneva in 2013 and was since introduced inevolved form in Tokyo as well, returns to Geneva to say it is ready to be made.Almost. The concept shown here still has rear-hinged back sliding back doors and butterfly front ones, hardly a likelyprospect for production. Its 20-inch wheels would probably be toned downfor the road as well.
The Viziv 2 receives a 1.6-liter turbo boxer four-cylinder,and a hybrid-powered all-wheel drive system with three motors. Moving eachwheel independently, the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system offers “fine-tunedcontrol”, though Subaru wants to take some of that control away with various –and undisclosed – autonomous driving systems. One more thing that should bechanged before production would definitely be the car’s name, which sounds morelike a vacuum cleaner.
