This is probably the most "Subaru" thing you can do this winter.
Subaru has announced that its WinterFest is back for 2023. The event is a celebration of all things winter for "skiers, snowboarders, snow enthusiasts, music fanatics, animal lovers, and everyone in between." That's clearly the case, as the brand's promo poster for the event below features all of the above, plus a Subaru Forester.
"Our Subaru community looks forward to the return of WinterFest each year, which brings family-friendly activities to eight different ski resorts across the country," said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Subaru.
Subaru WinterFest will take place at a number of resorts across the country, all of which are owned by POWDR, Subaru's partner for the event. You can see last year's WinterFest pictured below at the Copper Mountain resort in Colorado. Of course, the tour has some promotional value to Subaru, which will hype its Wilderness family of vehicles.
Subaru's WinterFest centers around live concerts, however, and some acts, like Big Gigantic, will be familiar to some. Snowsports fans will benefit as well as music lovers. Subaru will offer demos of some of the latest gear from some huge brands, including Nordica, Mammut, and Thule.
Other events at resorts will include "ski-inspired" lawn games, warming huts, and food and beverages. Subaru owners can benefit as well. Resort parking is not always easy but owners will get access to VIP parking and some "special gifts," though the last time we hit Copper, we'd be happy with just the parking. Owners will also have access to gondola rides, backcountry concerts, tram jam sessions, and more.
The Subaru WinterFest will run from February 11 to April 16, and the resorts are as follows: Killington Mountain Resort, VT, Eldora Mountain Resort and Copper Mountain, CO, Woodward Park City and Snowbird Ski Resort, UT, Sierra-at-Tahoe and Woodward at Tahoe Resort, CA, and finally, Mt. Bachelor, OR.
