Two of today's best loved supercar exotics, this quarter-mile matchup seems very evenly balanced on paper with the Ferrari 458's V8 putting down 542 horsepower and the Audi R8 V10 Plus rated at 550 hp. We've seen both these cars pushed way harder than this, but the 1320-yard times of 11.57 seconds @ 120 mph for the Audi and 11.81 seconds @123 mph for the Ferrari are not exactly pedestrian. But they could also be way better.

As always, the driver has plenty to say about the outcome of a quarter-mile sprint. On this occasion, the pilots decided to take things easy.
