The Japanese market has just received Suzuki's new home market MR Wagon. The MR Wagon has just been fully redesigned for the first time in five years and features fresh styling and a brand new three-cylinder gasoline engine matched to a continuously variable transmission. The vehicle is built on a newly developed platform that has a longer wheelbase, which in turn has provided an increase in passenger space.
In Japan, Suzuki will be offering the MR Wagon with a 0.7-liter three-cylinder engine which produces either 54-horsepower in a naturally aspirated configuration, or 64-horsepower with the turbocharged. Inside, highlights include a touch screen stereo and an ESP system with Hill Hold Control. The box-shaped car is available for order in Japan with a starting price of $13,700.
