The 2010 Suzuki SX4 Sport is unveiled as a car that's increased power and, at the same time, has increased its fuel economy. The 2010 SX4 does exactly that with its 2.0-liter I-4 engine which in 2009 generates 143-horsepower and 136-lb-ft of torque. In the 2010 SX4, it produces 150-horsepower and 140 lb-ft. With these improvements in speed, the SX4 has managed to improve its mpg in both its trims, the base and the Sport.
The increase in mpg for the 2010 SX4 Sport is thanks largely to transmission changes. The SX4's manual gear box picks up speed, going from 5-speeds to 6-speeds, while the automatic morphs from a traditional 4-speed step-gear transmission to a continuously variable CVT automatic. With all these improvements, the SX4 Sport is worth taking a look at.
