If there's one thing we love more than freedom itself, it's a fast truck, especially a fast Chevy pickup. The Chevrolet Silverado is one of the best-selling trucks in America, and comes in a massive array of configurations, from humble workhorses to hardcore off-road machines and high-performance supercar killers. Aftermarket tuners love working on the Silverado platform, and tuning legends SVE are no exception. These guys know how to make a Chevy faster, and have now launched the new 2021 Yenko/SC Chevy Silverado California Edition, a limited-edition truck packing a 710-horsepower punch.

The main attraction of this truck is of course its powerplant: under the hood of this beast lies a 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to a 3.0-liter twin-screw supercharger and an oversized air-to-water intercooler. This is good for 710 hp. SVE claims that the supercharger setup only uses a single horsepower when not on boost, which means no parasitic behavior as is usually expected from a supercharger kit. The kit also features an aluminum high-flow intake manifold, an adjustable idler system, and tons of custom colors for the supercharger itself. SVE also added chassis upgrades in the form of a thicker rear sway bar, stiffer bushings, and sport suspension with a two-inch drop in the front, and a five-inch drop in the rear. Stopping this beast is a set of six-piston brakes up front.

The exterior has been restyled with some custom alloy wheels wrapped in Nitto tires, custom badging, and large side decals that have a distinctly 70s vibe. SVE will be building only 50 of these trucks and will make use of 2021 Crew Cab and Double Cab models, including trim levels such as the RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country trim. The best thing about this truck is that it will be for sale at your local General Motors Dealer across 50 states. SVE also offers a 750-hp GMC Syclone for anyone with a serious death wish.
