The rear-wheel-drive hand-built S7 debuted at the turn of the millennium, originally powered by a Ford 427 big block naturally aspirated V8 rated at 550hp. This particular model started life as such as car according to photographer Peter Tromboni who was lucky enough to get a ride in this rare beast before taking some awesome pictures. It was then taken back to the factory so the twin turbochargers could be added, something that was applied to the remaining cars built from 2005.

As a result, the 7.0-liter V8's engine power increased to a whopping 750hp and 700lb-ft of torque with the capacity to go from 0 to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds on the way to a top speed of 248mph. The aerodynamic lightweight body is made entirely of carbon-fiber and weighs in at a mere 1247kg, while there's a functional, upscale interior with leather seats and trim complemented by aluminum accents. Other highlights of the interior include a LCD screen, rear-view camera, quick-release steering wheel and a 240mph speedometer.

Only 78 cars were produced in total, of which 20 were race specs S7Rs and 21 were factory built S7 Twin Turbos. The remaining ones were naturally-aspirated models. This reworked orange number has about 8,000 miles on the odometer, the second highest of any S7 on record. When the S7 TT first went on sale it was priced at $585,296 and recently a black on black example went on sale on eBay for a price of $479,999. However you look at it, this is one rare, expensive and fast supercar so kudos to Peter Tromboni for sharing his pics on Flickr. Photos courtesy of peter tromboni photography.
