Of the three concepts, this seems to be the most likely to hit the production line.
This is Suzuki's vision of a compact ecocar that will have the capacity to cover distances of up to 30km a day on battery power alone. This is more than enough for a typical daily Japanese journey, and with an engine-driven generator as back-up it can comfortably extend its range. The beauty of the EV Hybrid aka the Swift Range Extender, is its relatively small battery that's quicker to charge than pure EV batteries, as well as weighing less, using fewer resources, and costing less.
More details about the EV hybrid and Suzuki's other concepts should emerge once they take a bow at the motor show at the end of the month.
