Few other cars tickle the imagination of American gearheads as the Chevrolet Corvette. Ever since the launch of the mid-engined C8, people have been snapping up these American exotics at a rapid rate, and even celebrities have been spotted cruising the streets of Hollywood in these home-made supercars. The latest celeb to get his hands on a C8 Corvette is none other than Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone, who recently got himself a brand-new Rapid Blue 2021 convertible. Stallone is no stranger to Corvettes, and his latest purchase goes to show that you can never be too old to enjoy life in the fast lane.

The 74-year-old Hollywood star recently took to social media to show off his new Corvette which he purchased from Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The dealership proudly posted a number of pics with the star next to his latest acquisition. In the pics, dealership owner Bo Trivett and Stallone are seen exchanging "punches".

Stallone, who recently moved to Florida, had the new car delivered to him in the sunshine state. All we know about the new car is that it features the 3LT Tension Blue/Twilight Blue leather interior, with 19/20-inch five-trident spoke alloy wheels.

"We are extremely proud and honored (and a little star-struck) to be able to say Sylvester Stallone is now one of our customers. We sold him this beautiful 2021 C8 Corvette! Here, Owner Bo Trivett and wife Jennifer are delivering him this beautiful car! Thanks for your business, Sly!" posted Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of Murfreesboro last week Saturday.

Stallone's last Corvette was a 1968 drop top which featured an 8.3-liter Donovan Big Block rated at 660 hp and a full leather interior, and was up for sale for $129,900 back in June of 2015. We think he'll like the new Vette even more.
