More potent AMG GT S to go on sale first, early next year.
One of the star attractions at the Paris Motor Show this week, the Mercedes-AMG GT is undoubtedly a gorgeous sports car and a true successor to the SLS AMG. From the pictures and videos published thus far, we are still to find fault with AMG’s second full vehicle. And this latest walk-around video released by Mercedes simply strengthens our belief that the AMG GT will be a defining car of our generation.
With 503 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque being delivered from its 4.0-liter V8, and a host of performance goodies including an electronic differential, performance exhaust, and adjustable damping, the GT S will hit 62 mph in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. Are we looking at the ultimate sports car? Quite possibly.
