Tanner Foust Takes the Raptor to the 'Ring

Nurburgring

The off-road wonder officially known as the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is taken to Germany's most famous race track.

For anyone who’s traveled to Germany’s famous Nurburgring race track, images of Audis, BMWs and Porsches hitting the pavement are the norm. But while Germany builds some of the world’s finest sports cars, the country is not too familiar with all-American pickup trucks. More specifically, the V8-powered Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. But Top Gear USA host and professional racing driver Tanner Foust was out to change that on a recent trip to Germany.

Instead of getting behind the wheel of a supercar, or for that matter any other sports car, Foust took the Raptor to the Nurburgring’s Nordschleife to see just how that full-size off-road wonder handles one of the world’s most demanding tracks. And the site of the Raptor on the 'Ring is simply wonderful.
