Some of our readers might remember that we ran a story a couple months ago about De Tomaso and how they were preparing to stage a comeback. Well, it seems that plan is moving forward and their new vehicle, called the SLS, will be making its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The SLS might share a name with a recent Mercedes, but the new De Tomaso isn't intended to take on the supercar big boys, the way the Pantera did.

When talking about De Tomaso, SLS stands for Sport Luxury Sedan, and it will be a four-door sportback. This means that De Tomaso is most likely going after the Audi A7, Porsche Panamera or the Aston Marin Rapide, depending on the price that they will ultimately set for the car. We do know that it is all-wheel-drive and that a 300hp V6 and 500hp V8 are available, with a diesel option to be made available in the future.
