From 9-17 April 2022, Jeep will be in Moab, Utah. It's something of a yearly tradition for the off-road-focused brand, with special Jeep models, one-offs, and concepts making an appearance. Another part of that tradition is a series of teaser images released by the Stellantis-owned brand ahead of what's called the "Jeep Easter Safari."

Well, here's the newest teaser image from Jeep, which you can see below. As the day of the Easter Safari gets closer, the images have become more and more clear, with several concepts being teased. As official reveals edge ever-closer, the latest teaser has given us more insight as to what one of these vehicles will be.

The last time Jeep gave us an Easter Safari teaser, we speculated that the highlight of Jeep's arrival at the event would be the debut of a new Jeep Gladiator 4xe built to sit alongside the current hybrid Jeep Wrangler in the brand's lineup. This image certainly seems to help lend some legitimacy to our theory as the accompany text claims "this concept carries the latest custom innovations from Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar, while standing ready to prove its legendary 4x4 capability and class-exclusive, off-road, 4xe plug-in hybrid power on some of the toughest trails in the world."

Jeep also mentions that the concept pushes Jeep open-air freedom to the extreme. Considering the teaser appears to show four doors, but no C-pillar, this could be a completely open-cockpit experience.

Other details to note are the doors, which have an upswept area at the front where the wing mirror is attached - a detail not seen on any other Wrangler or Gladiator. We can also faintly make out Rubicon decals above the front wheel arch, but these appear to be standard decals and not the "Ru31-CON/4XE seen on a previous teaser (above).

From the teasers we've had, we're expecting at least three new concepts to be presented. While we're all but certain this one is a Gladiator, others could be modified Wrangler hybrids, or it simply could be a display of new accessories for the Gladiator, like the roof rack in the teaser image. At the end of the day, we don't know yet. But we're putting our money on a Gladiator 4xe until Jeep proves us wrong.
