Modern performance SUVs are faster than most drivers will ever use, but this hasn't stopped aftermarket tuning company's from pushing the boundaries even further. Famous Porsche tuner TechArt works on everything from the 911 to the all-electric Taycan and has now announced new upgrades for the Cayenne SUV. Available on the 2021 Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Cayenne Coupe, TechArt says it can dial outputs up to 750 horsepower (metric). That's way more than a Dodge Durango Hellcat and more than most Lamborghini models, including the Urus.

TechArt's range of engine upgrades will be compatible with the base Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne E-Hybrid, Cayenne Turbo, and the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid (plus the Coupe variants). These upgrades add differing amounts of power based on the model, but the GTS sees the most impressive increase by 178 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque.

For reference, the Cayenne GTS produces 453 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque from a twin-turbocharged V8, so the Techart upgrades bring the output to 631 hp and 641 lb-ft of torque. This power increase drops the 0-62 mph time down by a full second to 3.6 seconds and slashes the 0-124 mph time down by five ticks to 12.5 seconds.

The key ingredient of this performance increase is Techart's Techtronic engine management system, which can be installed without touching the standard engine management. Although the power gains aren't as substantial for the other Cayenne models, the top-tier Turbo S E-Hybrid tune reaches an impressive 739 hp (US) and 760 lb-ft, but despite the power, the added weight of the electrical systems means 0-62 mph takes an unimpressive 3.5 seconds. The Cayenne Turbo is far more impressive, taking 3.3 seconds with the upgrade bumping power to just shy of 700 hp.

Along with the power upgrades, Techart offers various body kits, interior upgrades, and exhaust modifications. The sky is the limit in terms of customization, with just a few of the available options shown here in the pictures. On the orange Cayenne Coupe, Techart shows off modifications to the standard Porsche steering wheel, though the company also offers a bespoke wheel option. Customers can even opt for an interior crafted by the famous couch maker, Rolf Benz. With so many exterior and interior options to choose from, we doubt any two Techart Cayennes will look identical.
