Tesla Cybertruck Already Has Aftermarket Kits For Better Offroad Performance

Tuning / Comments

Unplugged Performance offers mechanical upgrades to off-road accessories.

Right off the heels of the Cybertruck's launch a few days ago, Tesla tuning specialist Unplugged Performance is already introducing off-road and overlanding aftermarket kits called UP Invincible for the long-awaited electric truck.

A lot was promised when the Cybertruck was introduced four years ago, but what we got somewhat came short. Unplugged Performance's aftermarket kits could be the go-to of early adopters who want to improve the electric truck's capabilities - at least for those willing to brave the rough terrains with their stainless steel pickup.

Unplugged Performance has almost everything, from mechanical upgrades to off-roading accessories, such as the 50-inch LED light bar priced at $1,995. The 2.5-inch lift kit is available for $9,995, perfect for clearing off-road obstacles without damaging the "ultra-hard, stainless steel" exoskeleton.

The Caifornia-based company has several protection kits on sale, including a steel front bumper ($2,995), a rear bumper with a trailer hitch receiver ($3,995), carbon fiber fender flares ($2,850), carbon steel rocker panels ($2,795), underbody armor ($2,295), and a carbon steel front bull bar ($1,995).

When Unplugged Performance released a set of beadlock wheels for the Model Y last October, the company promised the Cybertruck would get one, too. Measuring 20 inches, the forged beadlock wheel and BF Goodrich All-Terrain tire set will cost owners up to $2,252.75 apiece, with prices varying depending on the finish and tires used.

Other products available in the UP Invincible package include non-beadlock forged wheels (from $1,398.75), a roof rack set ($1,395), brake rotors (from $1,195), brake pads (from $395), brake line set ($295), side Molle panels ($995), front and rear sway bar quick-disconnect end links (from $325), wheel spacers ($155), a bed storage slider system ($100), and a Starship Starlink mount ($75).

"The UP Invincible collection is designed to empower Cybertruck owners, equipping them to conquer the toughest terrains, embark on extraordinary adventures, and enhance the Cybertruck's inherent capabilities," said Ben Schaffer, CEO of Unplugged Performance.

"While we are renowned for our high-performance racing suspension and brake upgrades, UP Invincible is about infusing that DNA into that of the Cybertruck to take it to new heights and enhance the experience at every level."

Unplugged Performance said the entire product range will come out in early 2024. The company will ship the off-road kits early this month.
