As the world slowly starts to turn itself into a barren wasteland, some are trying their best to conserve the few natural resources we have left, while others melt down Tesla Model 3s to make iPhone covers. That's right. Caviar, a Russian luxury smartphone and accessories brand, has constructed a Custom iPhone 13 Pro cell phone cover using molten body parts from a Tesla electric car. This absolute waste of time, money, and resources comes from the same company which last year made a $5,000 iPhone 11 Pro Cyberphone that resembles a Tesla Cybertruck. Caviar has also gone ahead and made a bust of Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk just for good measure. This is stupid. Planet Earth is screwed.

This ostentatious, and inevitably forgettable piece of work forms part of Caviar's "Visionaries collection" which was inspired by modern inventors and creators such as Elon Musk. Musk has been lauded for his work at Tesla, but is also well known for his time at PayPal, his erratic outbursts, and his ongoing adventures into space with the SpaceX program.

Caviar was so impressed by this entrepreneur, tech-head and inventor that it melted down parts of one of his own cars, a Tesla Model 3 to create this striking cell phone cover. According to Caviar, the cell phone cover echoes the lines of Tesla cars, and the steel-colored insert is made from the melted body of a Model 3. The cover also features engravings of Musk and the Tesla logo.

The bust is made out of melted pieces of the doors and hood of the car. Only 27 will be made at a price of $2,700. The cell phone cover starts at $5,000 and only 99 copies will ever be made.

"I believe that smartphones and busts created from a Tesla car are a new level for us. In my opinion, these new items embody the soul of Elon Musk and, therefore, they will bring their owners the success and creativity of this outstanding individual," says Sergey Kitov, the founder of Caviar. There is no hope for the human race.
