It seems like Tesla is always in the news. Last week we were fawning over the announcement of "Ludicrous Mode" and now there's news about the company's entry-level EV, the Model 3. Autocar is reporting that Tesla won't be revealing its newest model at one of the world's biggest car shows, the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Instead, the company will throw its own event later in the same month (March). Tesla apparently wants all the attention on its Model 3 and that's just not possible at Geneva.

N/A

Autocar is also reporting that the Model 3 could get to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds, which puts it right there with the BMW M3. It will be built on a custom platform and could have a range of up to 300 miles. The custom platform could prove interesting down the road as apparently Tesla is designing it to fit a bunch of different body styles, which means a range of Model 3s could be available. We here at CarBuzz would like a wagon with Ludicrous Mode but will settle for a coupe with Insane Mode if we have to.
