Tesla Took On The World…And Won

Drag Race

Straight off the line, this thing is a beast.

Despite reports to the contrary, the Tesla Model S P85D isn’t the best car ever made. But it does have extraordinary straight line acceleration. Since its arrival, the car has proven to be a giant slayer on the drag strip and in street battles. In case you’re in any doubt, Drag Times has compiled this video of the car taking on all manner of heavy hitters, such as the McLaren 650S that has recently been seen destroying American supercars, and a couple of Lamborghinis including a Super Trofeo.

It also takes down a Ferrari F12, a trio of AMG cars, namely the E63 AMG, G63 AMG, and Mercedes-AMG GT S, and some all-American favorites, the Challenger Hellcat, Corvette Stingray and Dodge Viper.
