And it's gunning after the 911.
Last fall, Lexus confirmed that a production version of its strikingly gorgeous LF-LC Concept was going to happen. Not long after that, we further learned that it'll probably be officially called the LC 500 and LC 500h, "h" as in hybrid. The LC 500 could very well come powered by the RC F's naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8, while the 500h will probably have either an all-new hybridized 4.0-liter V6 or V8, or the same 5.0-liter V8 hybrid setup found in the LS 600h.
We'll know for sure in the coming months because a 2016 launch is planned. But for today, The Smoking Tire's Matt Farah has posted a couple of spy shots on Twitter of the production-spec LF-LC caught testing. He further adds that the test mule was accompanied by a Lexus LS, BMW 650i, and even a Porsche 911. Lexus is definitely aiming high here.
